The F1 Austin track layout looks pretty good. They picked some great corners to imitate.

I can't wait to drive on this track after its built and before the raceday.

The elevation changes on this track will be phenomenal.

I love the elevation changes. Just from that perspective it looks like one of the classic tracks (Spa, Watkins Glen) and I hope what they build lives up to my high expectations.

Lucky you

How about you do a detailed review and possibly a video of your lap (as and when they build it)? I'll post it to the home page

You got it!

I should be getting my R1R's and HKS HIPERmaxx III on the S later next weekend. I will be out enjoying some Central Texas hill climbs and scoping out the location with my camera.

I was out a few weeks ago at Bubba's burgers (He owns land right across from the future track) and not much was going on. I'll try to document the process with my camera, you can do all the writing.

I also added my name on the volunteer list on their site....

Definitely do so. I'm surprised we haven't gotten any better shots of the site than the useless Google StreetView and not-very-clear Google aerial.

I wonder if from the exit of 15 through 16-18 will be similar to turkey's turn 8? That's also a crazy incline at the beginning.

Yes, deliberately so.
