At 2 p.m. yesterday, AquilaEagle and I exchanged several emails...I'll provide two quotes of what AquilaEagle said:
"I haven't removed any of your posts on the forum."
"As I said i don't know who removed it. So it is hard to comment."
Doug, as I have pointed out many times, you have a problem with me (no basis except still fighting for your old friend) and you consistently are intolerant of differing opinions.
Here is what I said earlier about your comments directed at another poster...
"if you know...you would know...." (Doug being quoted)
Well done mod. Talking down your nose....Reminds me of another..... (My - Sunil's - words)
If this is what we should expect from you, perhaps you shouldn't be a mod. Let me inform you of your duty to mitigate.
Yeah, I'll miss Schumi, a true living legend. It'll be so weird to not see him on the grid in next year.
His drive in Brazil was absolutely superb. Unfortunately, that numb nut Fisi slashed his tire otherwise we might have witnessed Ferrari win the WCC.
It would be sweet to see him give ChampCar a whirl

Maybe MS is thinking about devoting his time to his son. Now how cool would that be if the next person to really challenge MS's record wass his own son. After all, I just read an article that said FA might retire after his 3rd WDC because that is good enough for him...
Schu's son already 'super-quick'
GMMf1NET -- 25/10/2006 9:13am
With F1's seven time world champion now retired, the only 'Schumacher' on the grid is 31-year-old Ralf. But the Cologne based newspaper Express is already holding out hope that another relative of Michael Schumacher could one day be destined for formula one -- the German's 7-year-old son. "Mick is already super-quick in a go-kart," said Schumacher's sponsor from his junior days in formulas Ford and Konig, Jurgen Dilk.
Germany's TV commentator for RTL, Kai Ebel, speculated: "Michael would be manager, Mick the racer. And then everything starts again!" Just last year, however, Schumacher shuddered at the thought of a pack of pressmen around his son. "Think about the pressure he would have to put up with to get out of my shadow," he said.

I don't think Alonso said he'll retire after 3, just that his goal is 3. After he leaves McLaren and wins a 3rd, he'll still be young enough to challenge for more.

I think you have a resonable hypothosis though, for me it is really hard to know what will happen with Ferrari with RB going and JT becoming CFO. It is also possible that McLaren could be on an upswing, after all, at one time they were one of the 2 best teams.
The bottom line, regardless of how good McLaren ever becomes, if their engine supplier is Mercedes then I don't like them. I would rather support the teams I like as they loose than to support teams I don't like just because they are winning; therein lies the difference between us.
