Land Speed records
I was just looking at a CNN atricle on the new jet car trying to break the land speed record.
So I'll pose the general question, shouldn't a land speed record be driven by the rear wheels not the thrust of a jet engine?
a thrust driven "car' is really nothing more than a plane still on the ground.
if you used a jet engine power takeoff to drive a gearbox and make the wheels turn, it's still a car.
or am I just being really pedantic?
