Was too slow to do it this morning for quali
Signed up now, finally, as I'm still learning just how smart my DroidX2 really is
Anybody have any tips or secrets or good bits of info to share regarding this free service?
Do they do live timing for the race itself too?

On formula1.com, they post up the live times during the race. It usually is ahead of the speed broadcast, but I do enjoy putting up the live timing while watching the races live. This way you get to see the intervals between cars and who's improving on lap times. The only bad thing is that it sometimes takes some time to change the order after a pit stop.
yeah its great to watch during the race, especially qualifying. because the commentators and world feed are not always focused on all the other action going on. its the same screen all the teams and commentators look at too.
doesnt help me tho since i almost always watch the race afterwards on iplayer. there are torrents of the live timing that i can probably sync while watching, but seems a bit troublesome.
now whats REALLY awesome is if i could get service like my fanvision G3 where i can actually look at LIVE onboard camera of the driver of my choosing, but thru my laptop. unfortunately its only available at the track. but it made this years montreal experience 10x better. if i go to austin next year, theres really no point in getting grandstand tickets...
btw, NFL gave away fanvision G3's to season ticket holders to help promote it for NFL. so there are a lot of them for sale on ebay for CHEAP, like $20-60. and it CAN be converted for F1! just needs a software update and pay for activation in advance. they sell for 350 euros, which was like $500 on their website... lol.

I remember watching a live feed years ago when I was at Indy watching the US F1, the guy in front of me had it on his laptop, it was incredible to see who was really doing what.
I have only had my Droid for about a month, but it dawned upon me yesterday as I watched quali, I could have this on my phone.......
