Part of me says yes, for sure, you are right on target.
On the other hand the smaller teams would never be competative, there would be a few teams that won everything, and that would make the races about as exciting as the 2005 US GP that ran with 6 cars...

About the the FIA with team orders, it's very simple, 1 car per team.

Unfair advantage is Mclaren and Microsoft teaming up to provide a standard ECU.
Mclaren did not find a loophole they built the hole into the ECU and they know how to exploit all its capabilities.

Was glad to see this issue getting coverage and explanation on Speed. Maybe they will do an RPM segment on it. The one today was good with the crash/safety stuff.
Seems like it's been a long time since we saw one of those segments but I guess that's because the races have been on Fox lately
