Not yet. But it will be nice if they do it before the season starts.

No, Bernie will wait to announce it 1/2-way through the season, only f it helps the team they want to win, to win...
Bernie Must Die...

If Bernie dies and Maxie retires, there will be no one remaining that we can pick on.

Ok Y'all, the FIA is getting set to vote on the new points proposal. Lets see if these will ensure that he who wins most gets the spoils.

I was curious to see if we had the new points system back in 2006, whether Schumi would have defeated Alonso to the title.
Both drivers won 7 races each, but Alonso still edges out Schumi owing to higher points tallies from lower points positions.
The Scores for 2006 are Alonso-134 and Schumi-121, and adjusted as per the new points system the scores would be 148 & 135 granting Alonso the championship.

For 2007 here is the math
Kimi won 6, Alonso & Hamilton 4 each, and they ended the season at 110,109, 109 points respectively.
Adjusted values for the points are 122-Kimi, 117-Alonso & Hamilton, granting the championship to Kimi by a wider margin.
Now from this exercise all of you can surely deduce that I'm frigging bored at work. Has the season started yet??
