well only time will tell about bourdais' career, so lets just sit back and wait to see what he has in store for the sport
I don't care what anyone says, Kimi rocks.
"Now traction control is not going to help you but for me it will be a lot more fun. I think there will be an easier chance to overtake as people will make more mistakes," Raikkonen said.
"The sport is dangerous anyway. It doesn't matter if you have traction control or not. If you think it is too dangerous you probably shouldn't be in the sport. It is more tricky for sure, you need to be awake more of the time."

I'm not sure whether it will be safe or not without tc in the wet, but in the dry, I think it's going to improve the excitement of the races. I think we're going to see a lot more passing, simply due to a driver being under pressure and getting on the gas too soon leaving a corner. He countersteers and lifts a little, loses some momentum, and gets passed at the end of the straight. I think this aspect will make banning tc very good for the sport.

What about the sound folks? Would you rather listen to five or six cars leaving a hairpin with or without T.C.? Example Montreal,I cant wait till June this year.
From what I remember of canada last year, both BMW Sauber drivers were leaning on it pretty heavily.

Believe me, I totally get it... But they are the best of the best, and great drivers used to drive without all the techno stuff in the past. I still love seeing a lap around Monico in a Senna driven Honda, as he is manually shifting through the gears using a shift lever like in a normal car, not the high tech semi automatic paddle shifters of today.
Touring cars are fun to watch because on the outside at least they look so much like cars we could have and drive on the track. Same with WRC - you watch that and think "geeze I could get in that car and do that"

Road cars are now so over loaded with "help the driver" technology that in another 20 years we won't even need to steer. Cars are being designed for the lowest common idiot to not kill themselves. SAD! What happened to driver education? I know AutoWeek is taking a stand on that issue.
By the way Doug I changed Monica to Monaco in your quote as I think that's what you meant... I don't know who Monica is but...
