Non-NASCAR fans: We are getting closer to launch and need your help.
If a 24/7 racing network were created devoted exclusively to the NON-NASCAR race fan with thousands of hours of live, historical and first run racing as well as many weekly race magazine-style shows including weekly coverage of major domestic series, behind the scenes access including the following classifications some of which will be available in HD:
Open Wheel
Drag racing
Rally
GT
Touring Car
Bike Racing (road and off road )
Karting
Vintage
Rallycross
Sports Cars
Endurance
Motocross
Supermoto
Off Road/Dirt
European Truck racing
UTE racing
Hill Climb
Porsche Cup
Desert
Speedway
Adventure
Historical
Various Club programs, (Porsche, Corvette, etc)
Various manufacturer series
I just came to the board to see if anyone else had posted the link! I put in my vote. I don't want to switch providers either but Speed is sure showing an awful lot of Nascar these days (thank you Fox) and no WRC coverage still.
I'm hoping the number of signatures collected will pressure DirecTV into adding this as a new channel. I'm going to call them and let them know I want it as soon as it's available - Penforhire you should do the same!

This internet voting thing is silly. Obviously no one is going to care about such an anonymous "vote". However, as a viral marketing campaign it seems to be working well, with lots of different boards having someone posting it and calling for people to vote.
The problem is that none of those featured type's of motorsport would create 1/10 the revenue or fan base of NASCRAP. This too will go the way of Speedvision. Like it or not but our redneck hill billy friends pay the bills to allow other forms of motorsports to be seen on TV.
