^ That sounded a little harsh, maybe even slightly sexist? I hope you're just grumpy...the guy is asking for some honest advice, I didn't really see any in your post.

Happy New Year!

Sorry but was being honest, no sense wasting time if you lack talent for racing. Plus it ain't cheap.

Having your raw talent evaluated by pros is key. Like the sig says :

If you are fast but make mistakes izz possible to learn. If you are slow you are f_cked." - V. Rossi

Another thing is having your physical skills tested, reaction times, strenghth, stamina, if your a slow twitcher racing ain't for you. This is just tip of the iceberg stuff, there is alot more than putting your foot down on the gas. Why race if your just going to be a backmarker ?

I did Martial Arts before I became a motorcycle roadracer. Now I coach my kids racing. I would see parents put their kids into a tournament and jr. gets put in the hospital because he does like to get hit and gets his a$$ kicked.

Racing requires many talents and skills and not everyone has them.

Well, racing can be done just for fun. Just don't expect any sponsors. And don't be thinking about using a competitively set-up race car as a daily driver. Aside from overall harshness, you have to be willing to wad a race car up. I can't say that about my daily driver.

True but why would you take the grid when you know in your heart of hearts you ain't going to kiss the trophy girl or even have a remote chance to finish on the podium. I would rather race with 10 riders or drivers who are as good as you or better than a grid with 20 and the last 10 are only out farting around.

Ever try passing a backmarker on a liter sportbike when you are carrying 30 or 40 more mph in top gear? Not knowing which way Cleatus is going to set up for a sixth gear corner. Ain't fun ,shlt happens quick at 180.

"other people can do it" Percentage of drivers to people who play stick and ball stuff, should tell you why Motorsports are for a elite few.

But okay, good luck with that.

Remember just because you do well at Playstation .....

Most racers choose Spec Miata ,better racing more competition. Most S2000's don't see a real racetrack.

One last thing from me, you may want to improve your educational level, your spelling sucks. To do well at racing you need to be very smart and be able to communicate well with engineers. Plus sponsors.

Most 15 year olds think they could do it. Many attempt to prove that by street racing and such, showing off their "talents". My question to you is without any real racing experience whatsoever, what makes you think you have even a tiny thread of a chance of making it your career? Your little i have determination speal and i am as good as anyone else may sound good in theory, but no amount of determination is going to make a 4ft tall guy a NBA superstar, same thing goes with racing.

Take it from someone that has been racing since 4yrs old, wins national events every year, and spends as much as the next guy. aI never even thought of it possibly being a career, cause it isnt and never will be for myself and 99.9% of other racers. Live with it.

I'm not crazy, I'm a woman, and I prefer to be taken seriously as a driver when I'm on the track. The trash-talking and ass-grabbing on the trophy girls that usually (but not always) occurs at the end of the day...I can do without, thank you very much!
