Default Cleaned up the arms

Got the control arms and knuckles sand blasted. New hub bearings and all bushings. Then finished the arms with 3 coats of rust inhibiting primer then 3 coats of rust bullet.

Suspension project done. All that is left is an alignment. Took it for a little test drive around the block and wow the car feels tight. Here is what I did. All ball joints, all bushings, all wheel bearings, new knuckles on the rear because that is the only way to get the ball joints. All controls arms sand blasted and refinished. 20th anniversary suspension kit. All rear differential mounts replaced. All sway bar bushings replaced. Sway bars refinished. Removed the rust and cleaned up the axels. Outer tie rods replaced. It was a lot of work. A lot of hardware replaced and cleaned along the way too.

Because I am crazy and I have been enjoying the S2000 work sooo much. Plus I just love my Honda/Acura products. I am starting a new project. It was a long time goal to own a S2000 plus restoring has made it that much more rewarding. I sold the 2021 Mach 1 that I had and went for my childhood poster car. Still can't believe that its in my garage.

This season I slowed the pace of S2000 work as the NSX was taking more of my time and money. I did replace the spool valve and cleaned out the idle air control valve and replaced the connecting rubber hoses. The little dip in my idle is gone now. The spool valve was working fine but it started leaking. The gasket had just flattened. I intend on keep this car long term so while I can I replaced the spool valve. LHT did a great video on the idle air control valve:
