Ansat527's Track Build
Heya all! After some time of already being registered here, thought I would finally start my own build thread!
Name's Diogo, I'm 21, and from Lisbon, Portugal. Always was a big Honda fan, especially the S2000 After having previously owned a Civic Type R FN2 (Euro Hot Hatch version), I eventually traded it off for a beloved MY00 S2000 last year, with something like 35K Miles on it!
Some sideways hooning at the track, a few drift days really helped me control the "beast", get a better understanding of how the car reacts given various factors, learning the limits, as well as being fun as hell
Some bucket seats are always nice, especially if they're in Kevlar
Sadly though, earlier this year, I had a nasty crash due to some very shoddy road construction (Place where I had the crash, usually has quite a few crashes there per week, still, they do nothing about it). But that didn't stop me. With the insurance money, I flew over to the UK, where I bought my second S2000, a MY00 JDM Type V! VGS steering is just so damn awesome, especially in the city
Here he is, in all it's glory, the day I picked him up!
And now, this car is basically stripped down to the chassis, first off, to convert it to LHD, and it's getting the "Extreme Makeover: Track Car Edition" Still don't have a lot of pictures of the car, mostly to create a bit of "It's ready when it's ready" suspense, but I will share a few pictures of the stuff it's getting. Mostly it's just pictures I uploaded to Instagram (@S2KRusso618) of the parts as they arrive, but you should get an idea of what it's gonna be

Some Brembo 4Pot from the JDM FD2R never did anyone no harm
Safety first! And then the accesories!
Can't go track, without a big wing, and some widening!
Straight from the guys themselves, while I was in Japan earlier this year!
Holy Grail of my car, NA Power!
Now, this one was hard to get my hands on, but after a bit of negotiating, I finally reeled in the deal for this baby, Original&Carbon!
And to top it up, always keep everything well lubricated, with the good stuff!
I'll keep posting new photos and info, as the project moves along! Hopefully, by the end of the year, it should be done, so, expect to see photos of it on the street and track pretty soon
