Great build and I also have a set of Pole Position ABE’s waiting to be installed as soon as PCI brackets are back in stock. I ordered my set through an Ebay vendor in Germany and went with leatherette+cloth inserts and they have a fairly large Recaro logo on the headrest.
What was the name of the company you used for inserts? I did a cursory Google search and wasn’t able to find it. Thanks…

I'm very happy with their work, but after fees, taxes and shipping there might be better options. I ended up selling my CR and picked up something else, and as it turns out plaid/colored inserts are very popular in other car circles. Popular enough that there are several companies who produce the seat inserts for OEMs and Recaro Pole Positions with the click of a few buttons. Here is one of them: https://p1designs.com/ You'll notice they have a Pole Position section. Just click that, select the fabric you want, and if you want a matching key fob and you're done.

Very nice as always. I still wonder if I’d have grown to like the ABE prior to selling it. Oh well, very happy to see you’re happy with them, they look great!

No major update, just a couple of better pictures that my wife shot of the hood, intake, and seats as I was putting the car together after paint. They give you a better idea of what it looks like all together, and you can see all the details that went into the painting and pin striping the underside of the hood frame.

That super slow drip of outdated updates and pictures.

Love it! I've always wanted a Mugen intake. I always thought they were discontinued, but it looks like they can still be sourced.
