01.31.2023 - Photoshoot with @S2k_Runner1129
The weekend after the Barrett Jackson FCCS show a bunch of my buddies were getting together for a "Classic JDM" meet. To no one's surprise it was mostly riced out E9* BMWs with obnoxious 2 steps and crackle tunes. We all ended up hanging out for most of the day. One of my friends ended up having some issues with her fuel system so we all hung out to help and support. While we were waiting for people to get back with parts I asked Lee if he would be willing to take some shots of the car.
I was really happy with quite a few pics and Lee @s2k_runner1129 was kind enough to give them to me to share. I think this first side profile really captures the car quite well. These came out pretty damn good for an impromptu shoot mid day in direct sunlight.

Appreciate it. I didn't know you were on Instagram! What's your account name? You, @Bullwings , and a few other people here are the whole reason I take the time to keep posting in this thread.
Social media has its place, replacing build threads isn't one of them.
Your car is so clean and well done it's beyond ridiculous. BTW, any recent video of those ITBs doing a dyno pull or a street flyby? Would love to hear that. ITBs on a high revving motor are the absolute best.

Definitely appreciate the effort put into the posts with all of the pictures. Build threads are awesome. It's sad that Instagram and social media in general has killed them across the board for pretty much all car forums.

Every time someone saysw something like this it's pretty flattering. I really couldn't be prouder of how the car has come together, and it's always cool to get to show the car to people who haven't see it in person. The car is so much better in person than it is in pictures. Even people who see it on a regular basis seem blown away when looking at it. It's really cool how deceptively simple it looks, but the more time you spend looking at things the more you notice. I absolutely love it.

I got something for you. Need to figure out how to get it off of my phone and uploaded. It's just a cell phone video for now. I'm going to work on getting some much better quality clips and video. I have been doing a ton of stuff with the car lately and have lots of updates to get to.

10.23.2.23 - Photoshoot @ Barrett Jackson Studio
I was contacted in October by the people at Barrett Jackson asking if I would be interested in bringing the S2000 into the studio for photos. As part of winning the FCCS show they wanted to bring my car into the studio to take some photos that they could use for the marketing for next year's event. I of course jumped at the opportunity and brought the car down to the studio. The people at Barrett Jackson were an absolute joy to work with. They were incredibly accommodating and seemed genuinely excited about and interested in the car. We spent several hours in the studio with them playing with lights and angles. They also brought in a video crew and interviewed me about the car while I was standing next to it. Thankfully none of this footage was used.
Some of these photos make the car look like a toy, it's crazy how well the studio photos capture the cleanliness of the car.
And the money shot! This is one of my favorite pictures of the car and looks bonkers as the background on my ultrawide monitor.
Big thank you to the folks at Barrett Jackson not only for the opportunity to take my car into the studio but providing me with copies of the photos. I'm still beside myself that I got the opportunity to do this.
