I'm also learning so much more driving this car at the limits which is the reason I bought the car in the first place. I'm having too much fun in this car and it's getting even better with each mod. For most around here it probably feels like an old car, but I've only had it for 6 months and it's my first s2000 so it's all a very fresh and exciting experience to me.
The s2k on track is such a blast and not being afraid to push it 10/10ths (writing off $80k+ isn't feasible for most folks) makes it that much more fun. It all depends on what you do with it. Not sure if I said it before but big props on your videos. As someone who has been trying to improve my track videos, I know it takes a lot of work and thought. You obviously know your way around photography and videography.

Any plans for a rollbar and harnesses/HANS in the future? Seems like that'd be coming soon..

Thanks!

Yea I have a HANS device that I used on my m3. My s2000 harness bar has been sitting in my garage for a few months. Should be getting it in the car sometime next month. I've just been hesitant to gut the interior behind the seats.

Good to hear. When really pushing the car a rollbar is definitely a good idea with harnesses and a HANS. I've been contemplating how I can keep my interior but add harnesses. It might not be worth the hassle but I'm going to see what I can do when the time comes. It might be somewhat doable, just a major pita since the interior pieces attach to the "bulkhead bar" that everyone removes when running harnesses.

Will there be a part out when the gt4 comes?????
No way. If I had to make a choice between owning just this car or a gt4, I'd definitely pick the s2000.
I definitely agree with you on that one! You can beat the hell out of it and as long you stay on the maintenance/tune ups she'll keep running like a champ. The rebuild is looking good When you get it painted are they going to blend paint up to the doors or just the front end is being painted?

You can trim the bulkhead bar to allow clearance for the harnesses.

I was thinking of taking an angle grinder to it when the time comes, guess we'll see. The concern I have is the thing is somewhat flimsy and taking material out of it might make it unusable for the stock seat belt mount. I was thinking it might need to be reinforced with some metal plates welded in. I haven't crossed that bridge yet but maybe I will in another year or so. Did you hack yours up?

I don't run any rear plastics. It was a bitch getting the OEM bulkhead back in place with the Hard Dog, so I was going to just cut it in half and remove it when I switched to harnesses. I decided to just buy the Hard Dog bulkhead replacement bar for the new car. Then I can run OEMs on the passenger side and harnesses on the driver side with no fear.
