Joe- Is that set 42000? I have it in a box. Got it for Hanukkah this year, but haven't sat down to yet to tackle it.

Yes sir!!

Like I said, about 12 hours total time building. A bit daunting at first but the building gets MUCH easier as you get a rhythm going and fewer parts to sort through.

I wonder what LEGO's true "fail rate" is as far as missing parts. I was "off" just 2 pieces out of 1100+/

Joe- I did the little one a few months ago- about 150 pieces. Had some 'extra parts', but I don't think I was missing any. For the big one, I need to get a little cleaned up in my office and empty a table that's some extra storage for now. I noticed with the little one that taking a few minutes to organize the pieces was worth it. The bags didn't seem to match the build sheet. Once that gets done - it's game on!

Corey- They also sell a Ferrari and Williams version, at an additional cost of about $30-$40, presumably for the rights to logos?

This is awesome, I was crazy about Legos as a kid and would love to build something of this caliber to have. Great job.

this is so cool. I Did a similar car build from early 2000's and this is way more advanced. Put some glue on it and make it last forever
