I love checking in on this thread. It seems as though you have a real appreciation for the car and are treating it as such. I like how meticulous you are, because quite frankly I am the same way. Passing cars over solid double yellow lines is not safe though. Hopefully that isn't typical behavior...

Trust me I have spent literally hours of my life held up behind cars on mountain roads and have never once made what I would consider an unsafe pass. My definition is probably different than many people's definition but I don't think I ever do anything that is putting anyone else at risk. The Ferrari was driving well under the speed limit, it is well known common courtesy to allow any faster moving traffic by on the appropriate turn off lanes on these winding roads. I made a pass on a wide open straight section of road with plenty of visibility well after I could see there was no oncoming traffic. Not much more to say really. I have come to terms long ago with the fact that many people won't approve of this type of thing, hopefully you can still enjoy posts in the thread that include this sort of thing. (I don't approve of the times when Aryton Senna ran other competitors off the road but I still think he is the greatest F1 driver of all time.) I passed the guy, but I am also that guy who spends hours helping a stranger repair their car on the side of the road in the freezing cold so they can make it home.
Well, I made my case I guess. It could be worse, much much much worse.
(I removed the frame grab because you made me feel bad.. )

Apologies. I didn't mean to make you feel bad. You're enjoying the car as you should and sharing your experiences with us in a very enjoyable way. Continue to enjoy the car and share with us - my opinion is simply that (mine). I completely agree that the Ferrari driver should have yielded to you and the car behind you from the looks of it). Truth be told I would have been just as annoyed (if not more so) had I been in your situation. Just keep your beautiful example of an S2000 tire side down.
Looking forward to more of this thread.
