Ah yeah, gotcha. Would they really protest you for a steering wheel, though? It doesn't really lend a competitive advantage.

I got shit for my roll bar at the last autocross I went to. How is 40 pounds at the top of my car going to give me a competitive advantage IN ANY WAY?

roll cage = race car
race car = faster than street car
faster than street car = advantage
