If I know you.. And I mean actually know you as in buddies or good friend even only on the boards, I would have no problem with a borrow.. But I actually need to know you enough to trust you... Otherwise, I need to cover my own ass if things get sour...

I'd just sell the cats myself because $40 is pretty low. I know some places (metal recyclers) that buy OEM cats require some kind of paper work (reg) that you owned the car so they know it's not stolen.

The guy I listed is probably willing to pay more for the cats than $40, I up sold him $20 extra dollar just for used gaskets and bolts. It's worth a try if someone wants a quick flip.

"$80 is way off for recycling since these have a metal catalyst if they were ceramic catalyst they would be worth at least $140 no recycler i know of would pay that high."

the s2k cat doesn't really have all that valuable of precious metals inside, so you would be hard pressed to get 100+$ for the cat aside from S2000 owners who want to replace their old ones. The cores don't have much platinum/gold if any at all unlike the previous honders and toyoters
