after maket springs and stock shocks
hi guys, how are you?
i'm planning to lower my car, but hesitating because many have suggested that after market springs will wear out the shocks more quickly, and instead i should go with the coilovers, which won't happened until i save up enough money.
(i might have asked this questions before, but i need to ask again. =] )
is it true that after market springs create more pressure on the shocks and might cause the shocks blown?
any of you running on the tein s-tech lower springs?
how is the ride quality?
please give me your insights on lower springs and coilovers.
thank you

I suggest just save your money until you have enough to buy a good set of coilovers. You also have to consider how/ what you're going to use them for...track, daily driving, etc... You're more likely to spend less and save more time and money by doing this... Just shop around, wait for a good deal, check sponsors forum for group buys. Also ask around for rides to feel different suspensions you might seem to like. And remember you can never get all the things you want or need from just one coilover. So just choose the best one that will suit your need.
Good luck!
P.s. Come to think of it, I should have done this myself when I first got my S...oh well, hopefully you won't end up like me... Now I have to spend more money to get a better set...
