Just purchased the 04 s2k. I used to own a prelude and did some stuff to it as i got some power out of it also. Im wondering what i should do for my first mod(s). Im in the process of ordering a kit (i decided the oem would be the best choice for me). After that, i would either want to put an intake in. Should i go for the PRM, Comptech, Spoon replica air duct or just a K&N Filter? I would be choosing from one of those. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

I would leave it stock for the time being at least till your over 600 miles. Theres no need to start modding an already fast car. Just my 02 cents. Congrats on the purchase.

 

welp...if your gonna mod...i would got for a CAI or Comptech rather than the PRM, or Air Duct since I think you lose HP on the PRM and the Air Duct probably does little if any only at highway speeds.

 

Most of your bolt ons will have little real world gains on this motor. Equivalent to, say, removing your spare and tools. I would focus on lightening the car, single outlet Ti exhaust might be a good start. Possibly lighter wheels.
