I did. Guess the law states that your vehicle gotta be at a minimum of 4 inches from the ground. Police officer said he hasnt seen a car so low, just only in lowrider car shows. Hatin. Well, at least he just gave me a fix it ticket. but he said it was required that he tow my car because of the "dangers" of being so low it could be a hazard to me and other cars around me, but he was cool about it. Im just gunna raise my shit let the cops check it out and drop it again haha.

CA law was something like 22 inches from the dot of your headlight to the ground vertically. My first car just barely passed this

That's completely ridiculous. What city did you get busted in, by what agency?

Yes, this is about right. Back in the day of the lowrider days hella people would get tickets for this reason. I would just raise up to avoid the trouble & your car/suspension will probably handle better from where its at now.

I agree!

Do you have to let cops search your engine? I'm assuming that without a warrant you can tell them to pound sand.

Unfortunately, I believe if you say no you get an automatic tow? You do have to agree to popping your hood though. I heard that its okay to look under the hood & the warrant doesnt apply like it does with searching the cabin or trunk. Im not sure though so please take with a grain of salt.
