Damn stupid theft!! My s2000 was broken into yesterday in oakland...that m*ther focker smash the passenger side window...

lucky enough only my friend's handbag and cell phone was stolen ....and the window is the only damage item....he must be drunk or so stupid that my jvc head unit and component speakers are still there......and he even answer the phone when I call the stolen phone no.....

anyone know what's a good place to replace window other than the dealer?

Sorry to hear about this, that totally sucks!! At least the damage to the car was limited to the window.

Turbo Autobody in Oakland does a really fine job. If you call first and set everything up, they get the glass and if you bring it in for the appointment they can change your window for you really well and FAST (and they vacuum all that broken glass and crap off the floor for you too). Just make sure you call ahead.

For such a repair like this, you can pretty much take it to any respectable place for repair. It's a fairly common thing they do.

(remember don't leave anything nice in your car!)
