autoshow in motion alameda......anyone attend?
Went to this autoshow / test drive event in alameda yesterday. Wasn't all that bad. Got there early, drove an H2 on an offroad course and got to tear up a corvette around a road course (granted it was a very very very very very....very short road course).
Drove other cars as well. Even got a free lunch out of it.
Check out this H2 picture, during the off road course..........and yes, the camera about as level as I could get it.

I was there with Asura on Saturday. We go there at 10:30am and it was really crowded. We didn't bother driving the corvette, it's not worth the hour and a half wait in line.

It was by far once of the most poorly organized events of this type that I have attended. We probably should have gone earlier.

I got there around 8:00, a little after.
No lines for the H2 or the vette.
We did have to wait for the E320 though.
The courses were so small, it was not worth the wait.

BIG thumbs down for this event.
I was scheduled for 4:00pm on Sunday, and they were closing down events at 4:50. What a waste of time.
There were wayyy too many people at this event.

went sat early. no line for the H2 or corvette , but didnt get to all the luxury cars. I agree, alot of people and families. for the four people in one car that switched drivers and the guy who would leave a car and jump into the next empty one even though there was a line.
