You guys ever run into this problem? Looks like the parts alone will be around $200 but doesn't look like a huge project. Have any recommendations near foster city or sunnyvale? Should I just do this myself?

I ordered mine from: http://hardtopguy.com/store/product....cat=101&page=1
Additional information
Year/Make/Model of Car 2004 Honda S2000
Products ordered
SKU Product Item price Quantity Total
SKU699 Rear Wheel Hub & Bearing $169.50 1 $169.50
Subtotal: $169.50
Shipping cost: $20.31
Total: $189.81
BlackTrax(Jei and Natalie) has an awesome shop that does everything there. I would go to BlackTrax first if I live in the south bay. Since I am in SF, I would go to JOEY(iTS2krazy) who replaced mine about 4 years ago on both rear. Now my rear driver side is going bad again. I guess from the aggressive offsets and wider tires. Enkei RPF1 17X9 +45 255/40/17. *squeek squeek* Joey is probably going to install mine sometime this week. I'm not sure how much for labor but Joey has reasonable awesome prices. I just PM'ed you
Both excellent shops. You have a lot of support and choices here!

I had a crazy bearing that had fused itself into the knuckle (not sure if I used the right terms here). Joeys staff used incredible team work to remove it with a press and I left with a smile and a smooth riding car.

I recommend Joey too
My wheel bearing was only $30 new & a hub was about $70 new. Labor was about $150 at Speedzone
I'm guessing you didn't go with OEM then. 3rd party bearings fail way too soon, especially given how much its costs in labor to do the job relative to the parts.

Nope, wasn't OEM. But worked fine the whole time I owned it

How do you know which side? I feel like it might be coming from the rear passenger side in mine. Do you guys replace both sides at the same time? Is this something I should do before T-hill on the 28th?

You can hear it. I replaced both of mine at different times. Now my rear wheel hub * bearing is going out again after about 4 years...I can drive your car and figure which side for you.

Best way I could identify the side was the basically ghost ride my car. That way I could walk next to the car while it was rolling and put my ear next to each wheel. Really just rocking the car forward/backward I could hear the noise in the problematic corner.

I dropped off my car @ Joey's right after work this afternoon. He will be replacing my Driver Side Rear Wheel Hub & Bearing, as well as new engine mounts. I have total confidence in his work and knowledge.
