Default commute question

Which way has less traffic in the morning? I live right near 101/880/680 in San Jose (Montague) and am heading to Mill Valley.

A) 101N > 380W > 280N > 1 > bridge > 101N
or
B) 880N > 980E > 580 > 101S

I used to commute on 101N and it was a parking lot everyday how is 880N towards Oakland?

I would think A since I do commute to work on 101 around 7am and traffic isn't that bad until the clock hits 8am.

A

Doubt 880N is any better in the morning. It's always backed up from the 101 even at 7am. Plus there's only like 3 lanes on 880...

Depends what time you're going to be on the rd. Anything after 8am, you're pretty screwed right around the 87/downtown area all the way to about the 85. Esp after the 880 junction where it merges and you lose 1 lane.

I'd go 280 all the way. 280>1>101N. Once you pass DeAnza and the 85 and all that other junk before it, should be smooth sailing the rest of the way up to SF. Getting through SF might take some time, but should be good after that.
