flashing require maintenance

flashing require maintenance
just recently my maintenance light started flashing a couple times then stops everytime i start my car i have 124,xxx miles on the car. does that mean i gotta do maintenance?

Yes, and soon if you keep neglecting it; it will stay on solid. If you do your own maintenance & do not follow the suggested intervals marked behind the manual; you can just reset this manually yourself. It will return again in the future as the car detects more milage.

Blinking Pattern:
At 5,900 to 6,100 miles - Blinks for 10 seconds when the ignition switch is turned ON (II).
At 7,400 to 7,600 miles - Comes on and stays on while the ignition switch is ON (II).
