Never hosted a group buy before but wanted to give back to the community and offer a product that really makes a dramatic change to your car while retaining your OEM airbag and cruise controls!

We've sold about a dozen or so of these wheels and quite a few locals have it already. But wanted to extend a special offer before we post it to the entire board....

I know a lot of you have been on the fence about trying one of these wheels so now's the best time


Thinking right now to do this as an open group buy meaning it will allow each user to pick his specific colors up to a point. Anything too crazy may need special order but we have the most popular red accents and yellow accents (for CR or Rio/Spa owners).

We will offer a special 15% off price if we can get 5 committed buyers. If we can reach 10 paid buyers, then I will extend the discount to 20%!

The pricing will be with a core exchange of your stock wheel. If you prefer to keep your stock wheel, no problem just add $100 for the core.

Our question is do you guys prefer round wheels or VGS style flat bottom wheels? The materials of choice is either leather or perforated leather or suede. Carbon Fiber is an option too if you guys prefer.


UPDATE: Pricing

Since each of these wheels have quite a few options we will give ballpark starting costs for each type of wheel:

- Round wheel, thicker grip, suede materials start at $449+

- VGS style flat bottom wheel, thicker grip, suede materials start at $799+

- VGS style flat bottom, thicker grip, CF upper/lower grips start at $1199+

We are going to be very flexible on this group buy so if you guys have ideas feel free to chime in since we are doing this for the local s2000 community. We will help with the installation if you want as well at our Fremont facility or we can even set a date to get everyone over here for an installation session and we'll host a BBQ event with free food

We are thinking to do a group buy for our custom steering wheels to give back to the community. We've sold about a 10 of these wheels to locals and each owner was genuinely surprised by how dramatic the change is so we thought we'd offer it here.

Just not sure if there is more interest in our round wheels or the VGS style flat bottom ones which cost a bit more. Carbon Fiber is also an option.

Let me modify the title and get something rolling here first then we can figure out pricing.

How can someone possibly sign up for this when the only thing you post for price is the percent discount and core exchange. I think you left out the minor detail of how much the wheels actually cost?

Business tip: when trying to sell something it helps to post the price.
