Default Hello from socal!

Hey, what's up guys? My sister goes to SFU, so I'm up there every month or so to drop off her material possessions and whatever else her whim desires. I've seen quite a few S2ks there, by the pier, and in Chinatown. I don't know how you guys cruise with lowered rides, the roads are tore up! Also, is it just me or do pedestrians think they OWN the road. I mean, they don't even look to see if a car's coming! Drivin up there is some serious defensive action!

It'd be cool to meet up with you guys when I'm up there! Where do you guys normally meet up at?

btw, I saw a nice BB at Chinatown YMCA yesterday afternoon, no antenna though.

Hello!

Not scared to roll with neuspeeds...muahaha! It's ok just as long as you dodge the potholes, some of them are pretty bad.

Yes, there is a larger pedestrian community up here, if I were you I would watch out for them, and give them unquestioned right of way; there are a LOT of crazy pedestrians up here...

Check the Bay Area Board before you make a trip up here... there is usually an event or two being planned!

no doubt, will try to synchronize!

Yep, I've never experienced such nutty pedestrians! But overall, what can you expect in the city??

Yeah....what notorious said.......

driving around the city $ucks a$$.........Unless you live there - the streets are confusing as heck. Too many one-way streets to deal with. And the stop lights at the intersections are placed so that they can easily be over-looked.

driving home from the BBQ this weekend....I...um......I mean....I saw someone.....skip right through a red light. I didn't even know there was a stoplight at that intersection. Thank goodness there was no cross traffic at that moment. Wouldn't have been pretty...

Tell me about it. That and also the lanes that go from through lanes to turning lanes without warning also kinda throw me off.

I went down the wrong way on a one way street once, Folsom in downtown from 10th. I was like 1/4 way through the block and people were high-beaming me from the other side of the road. Haha I just finished up the block....

haha, that's one of biggest fears while driving, to end up on wrong side... it get's worse when people are in the car nagging and talking...
