This is kind of off-topic and I tried searching Google with no luck. So I thought I would ask the Bay Area guru's here.

I'm looking to see if it's possible to find a database that lists all the different manufacturer part numbers for air/oil filters, etc similar to the little LCD device you find at Walmart or Kragen's which stores all of the info. It's the device they have in the car section. You select your car make, model and year and it displays the correct oil filter, air filter, etc to use. Do you know if this type of info is found or can be purchased?
