Default Importing from Canada

Hey guys.. looking for some general info, on importing car from Canada.

Anyone know if it's possible..

I know the emissions, etc. but are there any other laws against it? Things that would have to be brought to compliance?

What type of car and year? There's a lot of factors that can come into play.

Give this a read - http://www.ezbordercrossing.com/the-.../#.VE_s0PnF9tE

And this - http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/elig050108.pdf

Yes, the PDF is old. Yes, the 93 RX7 is listed as eligible. Might be best to just contact someone with the CBP/EPA/etc

Question is whether or not a JDM 93 RX7 qualifies.

Yeah that's why I mentioned calling someone.
The car is on the list, so that's a positive sign.
Now it's up to him to find out if the JDM model can be corrected to US standards.

OP - Why not just find an FD here and get a RHD front clip to swap things over with?
