installing a starter.
Assuming you removed the belt and the two electrical connections, you just need to use some force to get it free. I usually just stick a small pry bar between it and the lower mount and give it just a slight pull.

How can I remove the alternator? I've already remove the 2 bolts on it. Do I have to use brute force and some lube in order remove it?
