It's Been Over a Week(Went for a Drive)

We bought the car 10/29/10 with 20,1xx miles and we now have 57,296 miles on it. We take a lot of drives and most are not on straight roads(just look at my pic's on photobucket), that's why we go through tires pretty fast. A car(any car) is made to drive and that's what we like to do.

The car came on stock rubber that had maybe 2k miles left on them. I bought four new tires(255 rear, 225 front) Sumitomo's HTR Z II and they wore out pretty fast, I had to replace my rear tires in a little town in WA. state because I ran over a bolt(a BIG bolt)and the rear tires were almost done for anyway. So the only tire shop in town(Les Schwab) had a set of 245/45-17's or I could wait three days for tires that I wanted. I put on the 245/45-17's out back and that is the size I will use from now on, that or 255/45-17. I like the ride much better and I can't tell if the car doesn't corner as well, at least not on the street. I have 235/45-17 Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500 up front now.

I will try the Continental ExtremeContact DW with 235/45's up front and 245/255/45's out back next time I buy tires.

I really do like the way the car drives with this size tire on it. I really do.
