Default Learning Stick Shift on hills locations? East Bay

Hello! I'm new to driving stick. I have absolute basics down but I need to practice more. Where did you learn how to drive on hills? A friend said they practiced at Ohlone College. I'm in Berkeley area and was wondering where ya'll might have learned.

I learned in downtown SF. The Hayward Hills might be a decent place to learn hill starts, right by East Bay State.

I live in San Francisco. There's no better practice than trying to navigate through downtown and Chinatown SF, where idiots dart out of nowhere on top of inclines every other block.

Wildcat Canyon rd to Bear Creek rd to Alhambra Valley. Plenty of places along that route to practice and not have to worry about traffic.

Alhambra Valley Road is my shakedown area. You can take Wildcat Canyon to the backroads towards Briones then turns into Alhambra Valley when you make a right. Otherwise, practice practice practice. I daily'd the car for a couple of years so I had plenty of seat time. I'm in the East Bay area too

Unless you've been gifted with three feet and can work clutch, brake, and gas at the same time learn to use the parking brake when stopped in traffic on the hills. Start on gentle grades.
