hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has used rms wheels in saratoga to powdercoat their wheels? They said they charge very cheaply for the work done. here's the site.

Never heard, but its cool how they are based out of Saratoga. You should check in to see if they do this in-house or send out. I've had good experience with MAAS Brothers, but they are a bit far out in the East.

+1 for MAAS. and fyi, I hope the rims that you are trying to powder coat aren't forged.

Why? I powdercoated my RE30s before & used them on track multiple times with no issues (there is some debate to this). The only thing to take note is NOT to powdercoat the hub section of the wheel which mates to the hub of the car as it will melt. After I got my RE30s sandblasted & powdercoated they balanced perfect with almost no need for any weights with the set of Star Specs I got - mustve been a good combo of tires I got with the wheels.

Id choose to powdercoat a forged wheel over a cast wheel any day.

If you are willing to make the drive, take them to MAAS Brothers. They will do a good job. I've referred many people to them over the years.
