Default Modifry Cell Phone Holder

So I replaced my GPS ball mount for the cell phone holder. Wondering how I could get both on this space?

Above or below would probably work. Don't want it to get ugly.

Thoughts?

Create an extension with an aluminum bracket. Drill some holes in to it, paint it black & mount it on the Modify.

Probably wont be stable & will vibrate alot since youre adding weight & leverage to the mounting point. Maybe you have to create some sort of triangulation in the back to support it further.

Maybe you can get a 2nd bracket & mount it above with some modifications?

Rob, IMO this is a horrible place to put things (makes the dash look way too busy IMO).

One item is bad enough but two items you will start to look like a RadioShack parts bit

There's other ways to tackle mounting items and not letting the world see.....

Rob. In amazon they sell pre made extension plates that have the exact same hole pattern. You could also easily fabricate one yourself. They allow it to be mounted vertically or laterally. I would imagine that the extension being long with the weight of the devices could flop around a bit.

Btw. What is the make/model of your cell phone holder. I've been meaning to get one because I've just been using the belt clip on my phone to hook onto the modifry directly. Needless to say my method is not good for taking turns

Looks like a Proclip mount. I use a Proclip mount in my car as well.

So the proclip works well with the modifry mount? Have the full proclip on the fit bit the proclip location on the s2k isn't as good as the modifry IMO but I LOVE the proclip phone holder.

Yep. Works perfectly fine on the Modifry mount.

Took me a second to figure out that "fit bit" meant "Honda Fit, but"
