Well taking my Asura HFC and knocking out the core effectively making it a TP; theres a 100000000000000000000x change in smell. If the HFC had a smell it was so miniscule that it was unnoticeable, the test pipe however

02 sensor > 2 anti foulers > o2 bung. theres no way you should throw a CEL.

I made my own CEL fix with 2 anti foulers when I ran stock exhaust/63mm Spoon test pipe - never caught a CEL. Now I run the same CEL fix I made before on my J's 70RR and no CEL ever from that o2 sensor.

I don't think you're getting it. The CEL is because it's not detecting readings or proper readings from your O2 sensor. Moving the O2 sensor, couldn't possibly eliminate that problem. Getting a proper defouler can. Or just buy a proper test pipe (like from Berk) and call it a day. The O2 sensor needs to be read correctly. If you have an 06+ you could disable the secondary O2 sensor with a Flashpro.

I am running the berk test pipe. CEL still manages to come on.

Worth looking into. Post the code, or it didn't happen.
