Default Pouring rain, S-03s, nice commute...

OK, so the car slides around the track when it's dry with the S-03s... they definitely don't grip like the OEMs. But, in the pouring rain this morning, I could barely see the car in front of me, but the traction with these tires was really excellent.

I commute from concord to SF every day. I think I changed my mind about the investment with these being worth it. Maybe in the spring I'll get another set of rims and put better dry weather tires on, but for now things are pretty good.

with weather like today's, i'm glad my commute was short...heh heh I rolled out of bed and here I was. but since I work out in the AM, i was soaked head to toe before my day actually started. oh well.
I think the extra set of rims is a good idea if you plan to commute in this car in the rain.

PASSLEFT- TOP DOWN??? You are HARDCORE man!

Ford Exploders work well in this weather. I went out this morning and blasted through the flooded intersections where the storm drains were clogged. We got a lot of rain down here in SJ.

LOL. OK I was exaggerating a little about having the top down... When I got in the car in the garage, the top was down. then I put the top up and pulled out.

Although I cracked the window about an inch while smoking and got my whole left leg wet; it felt like I had the top down...

Driving down to Redwood City later this afternoon to go to Menlo Honda... Wish me luck. I'll let you know how the S-03s do on 280 or 101...

hmmmm so you guys agree S-03 is good for the raining season??

How much do they go for in a set?? I had the exact same problem as you enLihtninBoy, I might just go pick up a set of those tires just for this season. No worries on the dry season, since I should be able to get difference rims hence different tires by then.

I thought the A032R were suppose to be good in the rain.
