Hi everyone!

I'm looking at my first S2k off of Craigslist this weekend and am trying to setup a pre-purchase inspection. I've read all of the guides to assess one yourself but I don't want to leave this purchase up to my untrained eye. Any suggestions for reputable shops in the area?

I'd recommend making an appointment with Joey if both you and the seller are willing to take the car over by San Bruno. He's highly recommended around these forums.

He's done great post-purchase work on my car

- Rear wheel bearing and hub. You won't believe it, but on the drive back from the seller, one of the bolts snapped . (Absolutely no fault of the seller, just my dumb luck). Fixed it for me no issues
- Valve adjustment

Great person to work with, and honest too. I'd tell him my plans with the car, and he's deterred me from several unnecessary and costly work based on my car plans.
