Security question
Yeah I dont know why I got so off track, the real question is with the s2k being a newer car; is a fuel pump ks necessary. To my understanding the s2k is not able to be started without a key in the ignition right?
I was told a fuel pump kill was dangerous and a ignition kill was pointless because of the immobilizer. Ive also heard that even without a key, the trick thieves do is put their own ECU or something therefore re-programing it.

I always put ignition kill switches on all my cars. When I put an alarm in I have the installer hide a kill switch. Done deal

Are you serious? You think a thief will invest in a tow truck? They're trying to make money not spend it. I think youre analyzing a bit too hard there

To scare you even further, one can tow the car away with a full size truck with the right equipment . The car isn't heavy, and it isn't AWD. With the amount of repo people going around, it won't look all that out of site in broad daylight. If you are unwilling to get lojack , then use some sense, and avoid leaving your car parked out in the open for extended amounts of time, and park in popular areas where your car isn't the only one there.
