i guess we're pretty naiive college kids. but HERES THE STORY -

our apt. building is an 8 unit building that goes in horizontally from the street. We are on the 2nd floor on the corner furthest away from the street, so its kinda like an alley. we were pretty sure no one walks by that we dont know. well last night at 1 am, someone walked by that we didnt know. my roomate, neighbor, and i were in my room drinking with the music kinda up so we didnt notice anyone walk by. But at around 1 am, the other neighbor (two neighbors/roomates in the one apt) said he woke up to two big black guys walking into the living room. He was in his room with the door closed asleep, so the two guys were a bit surprised when he confronted them. They said they were looking for the tenant that lived below us, and the neighbor told them well he lives below us. This neighbor is pretty oblivious, muchmoreso when hes sleepy, so he says those two guys just left. At around 3 am, we were done drinking and when the neighbor went back over his laptop and camera were GONE!(*$&!(%&&*

I gotta ask...he left his door open at 3am while he was asleep in the other room...in Berkeley
I hate to see thieves get away with stuff so blatant as that.
