i think the area where we used to meet up is under construction or something. i heard sonoma was an option again, but not a given.

A well-informed source said that the event was un-invited due to poor behavior from some attendees. Seems some groups formed slow-rolling "traffic breaks" on the Bay Bridge. Maybe the CHP got tired of antics that seemed prevalent on social media. Could be construction, but that was not the explanation I was told. I only attended once and the caravan from Pleaanton to TI was pretty scary. Lots of people hanging out the windows shooting video while the exotics frightened the hell out of the "civilians". Remember I am alarmingly old and we only have 240 hp compared to 707 in a Hellcat or 650 in a McLaren.

Set up a meet at the San Leandro Marina? That's where the AE86 and older Toyota cars hold there meets sometimes.

Oh, are you talking agout the SF Cars and Coffee? Or is this an S2000 meet? Sorry if I have blundered.

The ones holding up the bay bridge was from the SF Cars and Coffee meet. Our Megameet for this year is in the planning stages and we hope to announce this year's venue and date soon. We are shooting for August if possible. Stay tuned!
