ah, it was a hookup through my friend that works in marketing with how i got the tickets. i had no clue about the no man's land photo area, though someday i'd love to give it a shot. how much extra does one have to pay or what kind of credentials does one have to show to get that?
ahh.... yeah photography credential application need to be submitted months prior to the event. i dont think there is a fee.

as for no man's land, it doesnt matter what ticket you have... you can't go in without the special "lock" .... everyone that can and needed to access the "no man's land" will have a special lock. even if you are a champ car official, without a lock, you cant go in. it is our job to secure every entry point to the no man's land, we are lucky that Pass Control was assigned to the san francisco region scca members.

i will be taking pics on saturday while working

I've either got tickets for Sunday, or the Bawla pass for the whole thing. . . the powers-that-be haven't gotten back to me.

Very disappointed from last year so I will not go this year. It took over an hour just to cross the damn bridge.

check it out this weekend, they added more bridges, widen a couple and there are more track crossings everytime the track is not hot.
