Amazingly I first saw it on TV..... then came on the Bose Wave radio they were advertising
I dont think they ever came out with a commercial solution, but others have been able to use the technology for further suspension advancement.
Examples:
Acura MDX Sport package - Family has one and it has a button to change from comfort to sport mode. Before buying one at the Acura dealer, the salesman demonstrated fluid flowing between in 2 syringes. It was meant to demonstrate how shocks work through fluid resistance etc. Then he connected a battery and instantly the fluid got thicker aka "stiffened up"
I started to think of how other cars like the GT-R and Porsche uses this method in balancing out the cars for comfort vs. sport and how they can vary the voltage to control stiffness.

Yep, being able to have comfy/ track at the push of a button would be the stuff fosure.Guess without progress we'd still be on bias-ply tires and drum brakes.
