Default RE: Monterey Historics

I was heading back to my B&B in Pacific Grove Saturday at about 5:30 PM and stopped to buy gas at a local Shell station on SR68 near Asilomar. Parked in front of me was a new Ferrari F430, an Aston Vantage at another pump, a Ford GT, a vintage Rolls... well you get the picture. My car was so filthy from the dust at Laguna Seca that Berlina Black almost looked white. But the guy in the Aston looks at me and says "nice car". What a great weekend.

I agree. Monterey Historics weekend is awesome for car nuts. Not only do you have the races, but there are the auctions, the shows, and not to mention all of the awesome cars rolling around the area.

Did you get any pics?

Where was it? I was there for 3 days and never saw an S2K corral.

I think Ron was being a wiseguy...those 40-50+ year olds can be a bit funny sometimes.

No I'm not that wise. I saw a BMW corral, Porsche, Ferrari, Corvette, Aston, Mercedes, but no S2K corral. If it had been advertised I would have signed up.

Thanks for the 40s-50s Grim...I wish.
