Thinking about moving to Sacramento
So I'm thinking about moving to the area to go to Wyotech. I am a college grad from University of Cincinnati.
How is the car scene and the weather and area like? I really want to come live out there since I'm tired of Ohio and the cold.
As much input as possible about Wyotech and the area would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks guys,
Jeff

I don't know anything about Wyotech but you might consider PMing this guy as it looks like he may have gone to Wyotech here...

Weather is fine but not as temperate as the costal areas. Almost never have snow...like once every 10 years we get a small dusting. Earlier this year we had snow (1-2" in some parts of the Valley in some areas) for the first time in a long time. Most temps in winter range from 20's on up to 50-60s. In summer, lows are in the 60's but can get over 110. But remember that it's a dry heat!
Sacramento is a nice little sleepy town compared to LA/SF though. More mellow but much more affordable housing cost wise. nice basic place to live but we don't have any beaches. LOL. Great outdoors action though - skiing, boating, hiking, camping, watersports are all excellent and within about an 1-2 hours.
Good luck!
