Default Best gas in Southern California?

Well, the search is down and a topic made me wonder which gas is best.

If you select other, note which company. And I'm curious as to the reasons why one company is better than the others.

Discuss.

i used to go costco.. but now only pump shell.. + i got a shell credit card. 3% off gas purchases. im a little skeptical about nitrogen enriched gas marketed by shell.. id like to see a comparison with other companies including costco. also, its great having a shell thats by my place that is pretty cheap.

i usually pump arco cause it's usually cheapest, but my dyno tuner tells me that in his experience 76 gas knocks the least when he does his thing. told me specifically to pump 76 before heading over, but when i told him i usually pump arco he told me i should tune on what i normally use then.

I have only filled about 4 times so far and have used Costco or Sam's. I just paid $3.03/9 at Costco. Since I really haven't pushed the car, all seems to be fine. That said, for as little as I drive, I don't want to be penny wise and $ foolish so I would like to hear if anyone has any problem with these fuels detonating.

PS - in my other cars, I occasionally use Redline SI-1 fuel treatment. In my experience, this stuff actually works if your car is beginning to run in a sluggish manner.
