Hi Guys/Gals,
I'm going to be doing the touristy thing in California around December, amongst other things.
In particular I'm going to be staying in Anaheim around the end of December.
We already plan to see Universal Studios and Disneyland. Any suggestions on other things to do, or even tips on shopping/food etc would be most welcome.
Thanks

The Getty museum is fantastic. It's one of my favorite places anywhere. Locally, it's sometimes called the Billionare Dollar View because it encompasses the levelled tops of three hills, all with views of LA and the Pacific Ocean, and is some of the most expensive land in the US. The architecture easily dwarks the land and art though. It's a site to see.
Do you ever watch the Tonight Show with Jay Leno in Sydney? If so, that's a fun afternoon. If you wait in line you can get in the front row next to the stage and get on TV in the monologue. Tickets are pretty easy to come by.
Rodeo Drive can be fun. Many people from out of town get a kick out of seeing US$600 neck ties and $550 blue jeans.
Near Anaheim, the Laguna Beach community is great. Laguna has some of the best beaches in the area and the rich/art community in the city is pretty enjoyable.

Going by the amount of replies today I see people must be bored at work.
I was thinking of going to the museum, $600 neck ties! hmmm I think I'll pass.
Frightfest from what I can see is only on during Oct.
Dreamcation - doubt I'll be able to attend any meets, as I'll touring with my sister and neice.
I think I'll have to make a big list of everything I want to do and try to find the time to fit it all in.
