Default diff install

i got my 4.56 from ricks today, its already installed in another housing ready to go. where is a good shop to take it to in the area, i was going to make the drive all the way to ram jet in sun valley (1.5 hour drive) but since its just a R&R job i think its not nessesary to take it to them. anyone know of a shop in OC that can do the install? thanks.

also what gear oil should i use for the diff? thanks.

Diff is probably the hardest part to install in our car. Most people ahve gone to Ramjet. They've done tons of S2000s. I beleive Tony Fuchs also sends his diffs there.

So have I. If I just get the gears, would there be any place that would install just the gears? And for how long would the car be out of comission?

If you've bought a pumpkin with everything already installed, then all you'd have to do is have it mounted. If you haven't installed the ring and pinion or if the pumkin you bought has an AP2 mount instead of AP1, then you will need to bring it to ramjet.

even though the ring and pinion is already in and i think it has an ap1 mount im probally still going to take it to ramjet. i talked to dave and he really knew his stuff,he said they did a bunch of 4.57's and its probally best if i just take it there. thanks
