hey, i'm getting my 4.77s installed soon, and i was wondering if it'd be cheaper buying the shims and what not myself and taking it to the shop. i was quoted $500 for installing the gear in the diff, NOT including the shims. i was quoted $500 for taking the car and letting them drop the diff and do the install, $300 if i take the diff to them..
