Default El Squeako- The Shift Boot

Does anyone else have a shift boot that needs to be adjusted to keep it from "squeaking". Mine squeaks for some silly reason...any thoughts..

just put some lube on it?

if you are talking about the leather boot I suggest that you take it off and leather condition it to make it soft. that should do the trick

No squeaks here...

Have you determined if it is coming from the boot or the area where the boot holds onto the shifter?

Its the rubber part (boot) that touches the metal (shifter)

I constantly have to slide it up to keep it from "squeaking".
